Most neighborhoods in Tajik capital will be left without water for one day

Most neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without water for one day — from September 23-24 and from September 24-25.

Dushanbe’s official website says water supply to these neighborhoods will be suspended in connection with repair works in water supply systems of Dushanbevodokanal (DVK – Dushanbe municipal waterworks).

Water supply will be cut off to Dushanbe’s neighborhoods 32, 33, 43, 53, 54, 62, 64 and 65 as well as Somoni, Ravshangaron, Mehnatobod, Arbobkhotoun and Chorpteppa mahallas from 23:00 of September 23 to 24:00 of September 24.          

To Dushanbe’s Gulbutta, Hosilot, Alajaob, Orom, Shodiyon, Marifat and Krupskaya-1 mahallas as well as neighborhoods 61, 63, 64 and 65 and Nemat Qaraboyev, Sabo, Qahhorov, Mirali Mahmadaliyev and Najmiddin Abdulloyev, water supply will be cut off from 23:00 September 24 to 24:00 September 25.

Water supply to Moyonsho Nazarshoyev, Qarategin, Khovaron, Zebunisso, Chinoro-1, Kamol Khujandi, Vosifi, Khairobod, Javononv, Mirali Mahamdaliyev, Zafar, Karin Mann, Sayf Rahimzod, Afardi, Ubaid Zokoni, Ulughbek, Anduqodirkhoja Savdo, Afzali streets as well as in neighborhoods 191 and 192 and the section of the  Roudaki Avenue from railway station to Dushanbe Hotel and the section of the Ayni Street from Dushanbe Hotel to the turn to Airport will also be cut off from 23:00 September 24 to 24:00 September 25.

Heads of Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni, Firdavsi, Shohmansour and Sino districts as well as head of DVK are ordered to take measures to provide residents of the mentioned neighborhoods and streets with tinkered water during the execution of the planned re
