Khujand expected to host Tajik-Kyrgyz tourist business forum on the following Saturday

Khujand the capital of the Tajik northern Sughd province, will host a Tajik-Kyrgyz tourist business forum on October 5.  The tourist companies of the two countries are expected to sign a number of cooperation documents.

Initiated by the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, the event will provide a platform to its participants for exchanging their experiences and discussing conditions for development of tourism entrepreneurship. 

The forum participants will also discuss issues related to organization of short-term training courses for personnel for tourism sphere and relevant industries, an official source at the Tourism Development Committee told Asia-Plus in an interview.

Besides, they discuss modern methods to promote tourism opportunities of both countries with using of information technologies, the source added.

The tourist companies of the two countries are expected to sign a number of cooperation agreements and memoranda of cooperation.
