On Saturday December 7, Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali gave start to a tree planting campaign in the Tajik capital.

The tree planting campaign with participation of Dushanbe mayor began in the Navrouzgoh Complex area (Hofiz Sherozi Avenue) and more than 1,300 trees were planted on Saturday, an official source told Asia-Plus in an interview.
“All the nursery-grown trees have been brought from abroad and 400 oaks have been planted along the Saadi Sherozi Avenue,” the source said.
