An emergency on the Dushanbe-Khujand highway. 8 people died in a terrible accident

The tragedy occurred on 245 km of the Dushanbe-Khujand highway on Saturday evening as a result 8 people died, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reports.

 «Manuchekh Shokirov, a 31-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz, a resident of the jamoat Mehnatobod of the Zafarabad region, while driving from Istaravshan to Khujand, lost control of the car and drove into the oncoming lane, colliding with an Opel-Vectra, which was driven by 37 Bakhtiyor Khojamurodov», – noted on the website of the department.

At the scene of an accident, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz and three of its passengers died from injuries they are all residents of the city of Guliston.

 Also killed the driver of the "Opel Vectra" along with three passengers – residents of Zafarobod.
