159 deported Tajiks returned home from the Russian city of Yekaterinburg on May 26.

They have been held at Russian temporary detention centers over the past several months and they were carried to Dushanbe on Monday by Russian air company Utair.

Besides, bodies of two Tajik labor migrants were carried to Tajikistan by this flight, the Tajik MFA information department says.

Meanwhile, 237 Tajik nationals and bodies of 13 Tajiks were carried from Moscow to Dushanbe Sunday (May 25) morning.

Of a total number of Tajiks who returned home on Sunday and Monday, 197 have been held at the Russian temporary detention centers for several months for violation of rules of stay in the Russian Federation.

All passengers arrived in Tajikistan from Moscow and Yekaterinburg have been taken to the Sadbarg resort center in the Romit Gorge for a two-week quarantine.

A plane of Utair has reportedly operated a special flight to Dushanbe to bring back Russian teachers working in Tajikistan.

Utair is a Russian low-cost airline with its head office at Khanty-Mansiysk Airport while its hubs are at Surgut International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport.  It operates scheduled domestic and some international passenger services, scheduled helicopter services, and extensive charter flights with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters in support of the oil and gas industry across western Siberia.
