Tajik, Turkish foreign ministers hold a telephone conversation to discuss COVID crisis

On May 28, 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirodjiddin Muhriddin, had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

During the conversation, the two reportedly discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral collaboration between Tajikistan and Turkey in various areas.

They also discussed issues related to expansion of cooperation between the two countries in combating the new coronavirus (COVID-19). 

Besides, Muhriddin and  Cavusoglu discussed a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interest.
