On Saturday July 25, President Emomali Rahmon paid a working visit to his hometown – Danghara district.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the main purpose of the visit was for the president to get acquainted with the socioeconomic situation and the progress of agricultural works in the district.
During his trip to Danghara, the head of state reportedly visited the producers’ cooperative Somonjon and farming units Fathiddin and Barno.
The producers’ cooperative Somonjon was the first leg of President Rahmon’s visit to the Danghara district.
Meanwhile, Tajik national TV channels yesterday reported that president’s children and grandchildren accompanied him on his visit to the producers’ cooperative Somonjon, which was established three years ago.
Intensive gardens have reportedly been planted in the area of 200 hectares in this producers’ cooperative.
During the visit to the Somonjon producers’ cooperative, Emomali Rahmon and his children and grandchildren collected watermelons and melons.
This year, watermelons and melons have been planted on 170 heactares in the Somonjon producers’ cooperative.
The president reportedly ordered Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali, who is his eldest son, to send 20 tons of watermelons and melons to two boarding schools for orphans in Dushanbe.
During his visit to the Barno farming unit, the head of state got acquainted with the vegetation of trees of the intensive garden laid out in the farming unit.
In the Fathiddin farming unit, Emomali Rahmon got acquainted with the irrigated lands of the farming unit.
