Vadim Sadonshoev becomes the new project director of Internews in Tajikistan, reported on the Tajikistan Internews Facebook page.
Vadim Sadonshoev has been a project manager at Internews in Tajikistan since 2018. Prior to joining Internews, Sadonshoev worked in the Information Department of the US Embassy in Dushanbe, was the Public Relations and Media Coordinator of the Eurasia Foundation – Central Asia.
He also served as Executive Director of the Ismaili Center in Tajikistan and Coordinator of the USAID Democracy Development Program in Tajikistan..
As head of Internews in Tajikistan, Sadonshoev replaced Abdumalik Kadyrov, who headed the Tajik office as country director since 2016 and was fired in March.
