Rogun has generated more than 1.7 billion kW/h of electricity since the start of two units

Two hydroelectric units of the Rogun HPP from the beginning of their commissioning until the beginning of the second decade of September this year have produced over 1.7 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, JSC "Rogun HPP" reports.

It is noted that currently commissioned in November 2018 and September 2019, units No. 6 and No. 5 operate at minimum capacity, depending on the water level in the Rogun reservoir.

The message says that to increase the production capacity of the units, water is collected.

It is also noted that the construction of the reservoir dam and work at other facilities of the station are carried out on a round-the-clock basis, the builders are provided with all the necessary modern equipment and mechanisms.

In general, it is planned to install six 600 MW hydroelectric units with radial-axial turbines in the turbine hall of the Rogun HPP.
