Weather forecasters predict cold winter in Tajikistan this year

Tajik weather forecasters predict that it will be a cold winter in Tajikistan this year. 15-degree frosts are reportedly expected in mid-December.

A decrease in temperature will begin from the second half of November and a cold weather will make it to the whole territory of the country by the end of the month, according to the Hydrometeorology Agency (Hydromet).   

A frosty weather is forecasted until the end of the year.  In mid-December, frost can reach 15 degrees below zero at night.  Only by the New Year – December 30-31, it will get much warmer up to 10 degrees.

But the warm will not last long, and from the beginning of January, cold weather will dominate in Tajikistan again.  

According to long-term forecasts, the weather will get warmer only at the end of February.

It should be noted that the long-term weather forecast is an indicative forecast.
