By president’s decree a new State Prize has been instituted in Tajikistan. The prize will be awarded to the natural and exact sciences research scientists and teachers of natural and exact sciences.
Starting from 2021, this prize will be awarded to 15 persons annually, a source within the Tajik government told Asia-Plus.
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is ordered to provide monetary award of this State Prize beginning on January 1, 2021 at the expense of the national budget.
The amount of monetary award will be set by the government annually.
This prize is instituted to promote development of natural and exact sciences in the country.
