Fire damages two apartments in four-story residential building in Dushanbe

A fire that broke out in one of apartments in a four-story residential building in Dushanbe’s neighborhood unit 65, not far from the Sakhovat bazaar, has damaged two apartments.

The Interior Ministry’s website says the fire broke out in apartment # 58 on the first floor yesterday evening, at around 8:30 pm, and then spread to apartment # 60 located on the second floor.

Four firefighting crews that arrived on the fire scene in 10 minutes fully extinguished the fire in an hour.  

The fire reportedly covered a space of 35 square meters.  No injured was reported, according to the Interior Ministry’s website

According to the preliminary investigation, the fire was caused by electrical malfunction – short circuit in TV set.
