Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev yesterday met in Tashkent with Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, who arrived in the Uzbek capital for participation in the International Conference entitled “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities.”

In the course of the talks, the parties discussed perspectives of interaction on issues of providing regional security and sustainable development, according to the Uzbek president’s press service.
