Asia-Plus

During the June visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan, the heads of the two states supported the proposal to create a joint feature film about the friendship of our great ancestors Alisher Navoi and Abdurahmon Jomi.

To implement this agreement, on September 12, a delegation of Tajik filmmakers visited Samarkand, reports the press service of the Main Department for Tourism and Sports of the Samarkand region.

During the visit to Samarkand State University, a meeting was held with the teaching staff, consisting of historians and film directors. At the meeting, it was proposed to consider certain locations for the filming of the film, which played an important role in the lives of poets.

It is planned that the release of this film will serve to increase the flow of tourists to Samarkand..
