The wrap-up government session being held in Dushanbe today

Asia-Plus

Presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, who is also the Head of the Government, a government session is being held in Dushanbe today to review the results of the past year's work.

The state-run news agency Khovar says the session will review the results of socio-economic activities carried out in the country last year and determine the main tasks for this year.

The session participants reportedly include members of the government, president’s executive office, top managers of the country’s enterprises and agencies, governors of provinces, districts and cities, heads of higher educational institutions, directors of project implementation units, top managers of state-run and commercial banks, editors-in-chief of state-run media outlets and other officials.

Meanwhile, some experts say that it cannot be ruled out that the president will introduce a number of staff changes at this meeting.
