Six persons were injured in gas tank truck explosion that took place at a gas station in Mastchoh district of Sughd province late yesterday evening.
According to video posted on Parviz TV, the explosion occurred at the gas station in Obburdon jamoat at 8:30 pm.
According to the Emergencies Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, six persons were injured in the explosion; all of them were admitted to the district central hospital.
The gas station itself and the facilities located next to it were damaged, Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the Emergences Committee, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
The cause of the explosion is under way.
Yesterday evening, the explosion video was posted on social media networks.
