Somon Air has increased its fleet by two Boeing 737-800

Somon Air received the first of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft on August 30. The aircraft is designed for 189 economy class passenger seats.

The aircraft is painted in the traditional livery of the airline and named after the Hero of Tajikistan Mirzo Tursunzoda.

Another Boeing 737-800 is expected to arrive in early September.

Both aircraft were received under operating lease from one of the largest leasing companies – ACG (Aviation Capital Group).

Thus, the airline will increase the fleet to 6 aircraft – two Boeing 737-900 and four Boeing 737-800.
