Three migrants to stand trial in Tula for beating policemen

The prosecutor's office of the Zarechensky district of Tula approved the indictments in criminal cases against three migrants who are accused of beating police officers, the press service of the prosecutor's office reports.

«They are accused of committing a crime under part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of Russia (use of violence against a representative of the authorities), – the message says.

According to investigators, on the evening of July 22 in the village of Oktyabrsky, being in a state of intoxication, after the police reprimanded them for violating public order, they began to beat law enforcement officers.

«The foreigners inflicted at least four blows to the police officers in the chest area, causing physical pain and injuries», – noted in the press release.

Criminal cases sent against three migrants sent to the district court for consideration on the merits.
