Turkmenistan has amended the rules for the transportation of goods through border crossings, reports the Department of Land Transport of the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan.

The changes were introduced in accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 257 dated September 14, 2022 «On the regulation of the activities of state bodies at the customs border of Turkmenistan and the establishment of a single amount of fees and payments from foreign owners of vehicles», – the message says.

It is noted that the amount of fees is changing in “order to create favorable and competitive conditions for the transportation of export-import and transit goods by road, as well as to increase the efficiency of transport and transit crossings through the territory of Turkmenistan”.
