Iran to appoint first health attaché to Tajikistan

Iran's minister of health has announced that the country is planning to appoint a first health attaché to Tajikistan where Iran plans to increase its pharmaceutical marketing activity, IRNA reported on July 16.

Bahram Einollahi reportedly said during a visit to Dushanbe on Sunday that the appointment of health attaché to Tajikistani will also be aimed at attracting more health tourism from the Central Asian country to Iran.

The Islamic Republic is after opening up a market for Iranian medical products in Tajikistan, the minister said, adding that Iranian health attaché will be appointed to other friendly countries in the future.

Further, he referred to the cultural commonalities and the common language of Iran and Tajikistan as important platforms to widen bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to IRNA, the Iranian health minister is to stay in Tajikistan for two days.
