The Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education is being established under the Government of Tajikistan.
A relevant resolution on this subject was adopted by the Government of Tajikistan on September 6 and it was published on the Justice Ministry’s website for legal information on September 21.
The new committee will develop and implement the unified state policy in the field of primary and secondary vocational education.
The resolution establishes the maximum number of employees of the Committee by reducing staff units of federally funded institutions in the number of 42 staff units (without attendants).
The chairman of the Committee is allowed to have two deputies and create a board of seven people.
The Ministry of Finance undertakes to ensure that staff units in relevant federally funded institutions will be reduced within a month in accordance with the established procedure.
It will be the 21st body being established in the Government of Tajikistan.
Currently there are twenty committees under the government operating in Tajikistan:
- The Customs Committee;
- The Committee on Language and terminologies;
- The Committee on Family and Women’s Affairs;
- The Committee on Architecture and Construction;
- The Committee on TV and Radio-broadcasting;
- The Committee on the Environmental Protection
- The Emergencies Committee;
- The Committee on Sports and Youth’s Affairs;
- The Tourism Development Committee;
- The Committee on Religious Affairs,
- The Committee on Food Security;
- The Communications Service;
- The Customs Service;
- The Antimonopoly Committee;
- The Service for the Service of the State Supervision of Safe Work in Industry and Mining Supervision;
- The Main Geology Directorate;
- The Civil Air Agency;
- The Reclamation and Irrigation Agency;
- The Agency on Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Insection;
- The Forestry Agency.
