President shakes up reginal administrators in Khatlon province

A number of regional administrators of Khatlon province have been replaced. 

Ms. Anzourat Abdusalomzoda, who had previously head the Khatlon directorate for family and women’s affairs, was appointed deputy government of Khatlon province, replacing Ms. Firouza Sharifi, who was appointed mayor of the city of Nurek in Khatlon province.

Ms. Firouza Sharifi replaced Mr. Dilshod Asozoda, who was reportedly relieved of his post of mayor of Nurek in connection with transfer to another job.

Dilshod Asozoda’s new position is not yet known.  

Ms. Mastoura Tabari, formerly chairperson of Jomi district in Khatlon province, was appointed mayor of the city of Levakant, replacing Ms. Bunafsha Saifiddinzoda, who was appointed to head the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs, under the Government of Tajikistan.
