Tajik president and the Emir of Qatar together watch the horse race in Qatar

Qatar media reports say that after the meeting, the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, invited the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to watch together the final competition of the Equestrian Festival at the special large field of these games.

The sincere conversation between the heads of the two states reportedly continued during the watching of the horse race.

BNN Breaking says this type of sport is very popular among Arab peoples, including Qataris, famous, capable athletes from all parts of the world participate in it, and the winners gain big prizes.

BNN Breaking called Qatar Emir’s Inviting Tajikistan President to Equestrian Festival Finals a symbol of cultural diplomacy, noting that this event not only underscores the deep-rooted popularity of equestrian sports among Arab peoples but also showcases the global participation that the festival attracts, with athletes from around the world competing for prestigious prizes.

Gulf Times reported on February 17 that His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the closing ceremony of HH the Amir Sword Festival 2024, held at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC)'s Al Rayyan racecourse, on Saturday.  The Amir reportedly awarded the Amir Sword winners.
