Emomali Rahmon signs over 30 new laws

On Wednesday November 13, President Emomali Rahmon signed thirty-one new laws for Tajikistan, says the Tajik president’s official website. 

Among the signed laws are amendments made to the Civil Code, Criminal Procedural Code, and the Code of Administrative Offenses.

Other signed laws include those on "Grain and Its Processed Products," "Environmental Protection," "Tourism," and "Targeted Social Assistance."

"The newly signed laws aim to accelerate the country's socio-economic development, protect nature, ensure law and order, and improve the standard and quality of life for the population," the Tajik president’s official website stated.

No further details on the content of the laws were provided at the time of publication, with the president’s press service noting that the full texts will be published in the press.
