Salaries in Tajikistan: Who earns the most and the least?

As of November 2024, the average monthly nominal salary in Tajikistan was 2,628.90 somonis (US$241), according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

This reportedly represents a 1.4% increase compared to October 2024 and a 24.7% increase compared to November 2023.

The minimum wage in the country is 800 somonis (US$73).

In 2024, the lowest salaries were recorded in agriculture, forestry, and fishing, where workers earned an average of 1,093.58 somonis (US$99) per month.

The highest salaries were in the financial intermediation and insurance sectors, where employees earned an average of 6,894.13 somonis (US$630) per month.
