The press center of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources (MoEWR) reported on May 11 that the next meeting between the delegations of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to coordinate the Government-to-Government Agreement between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of electric power has taken place in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent.

The delegation of Tajikistan was led by the Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daler Juma, while the Uzbek side was headed by the Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov.

During the meeting, the parties reportedly discussed a wide range of issues related to further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the countries in the energy sector.

The parties also exchanged views on finalizing and agreeing upon the text of the agreement, the MoEWR press center noted.
