Tajikistan has established cooperation with Swiss partners to promote the country's tourism potential in the international arena. Plans to organize promotional events and attract tourists and investments to Tajikistan were discussed.

In Geneva, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziedullo Salimzoda and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Switzerland Sharaf Sheralizoda met with Director General of the Geneva Office of Tourism Adrien Genier, as well as with the heads of leading Swiss travel companies Trade Wings Voyages and Executive Travel.

During the meeting, key issues related to attracting tourists to Tajikistan, organizing joint projects and advertising campaigns were discussed. One of the central points of the discussion was cooperation with Swiss partners, which is aimed at actively promoting the tourism potential of the Republic of Tajikistan in the international arena. In particular, the parties outlined plans to organize promotional events, including presentations of Tajikistan's tourist routes on the Swiss market.

The interlocutors touched upon the topic of attracting investments in Tajikistan's tourism industry, which should contribute to the sustainable development of the sector and increase the number of foreign visitors. It is expected that this cooperation will not only increase interest in the republic among foreign tourists, but will also be an important step in attracting investment, which in turn will lead to the development of infrastructure and the creation of new jobs in the tourism industry.

Representatives of both sides stressed the importance of further cooperation and expressed their willingness to work on long-term projects aimed at increasing Tajikistan's tourist attractiveness, strengthening economic ties and developing cultural exchanges between the two countries.

According to Primus Publishing, a media company that publishes magazines and online content related to the travel industry, "Tajikistan is known for its unique nature and hospitality, as well as the legendary Pamir Road, which is one of the highest and most scenic trails in the world."

Trade Wings Voyages is a Swiss travel company specializing in providing high–quality travel services for business and personal travel around the world.

Executive Travel is a Genevabased company specializing in customized service and travel arrangements around the world.
