On September 27, the Women in Tech Tajikistan 2025 initiative will be officially launched at the IT Park in Dushanbe. The event will bring together women leaders, entrepreneurs, and experts who are changing the landscape of technology and creating social innovations.
The forum’s program will include presentations from international and local speakers, panel discussions, networking, and pitching sessions for STEM & Social Impact projects. This is where women, selected for their innovative ideas, will showcase their projects and demonstrate that the future of technology and social change lies in the hands of the new generation of leaders.
Projects to be presented at Women in Tech Tajikistan 2025
StudyMap
Kamila Olimova is not only a reliable team partner but also the programmer behind the StudyMap project. She excels at turning ideas into functional products. Thanks to her technical contributions and detailed analysis, every step of the team’s work becomes more intentional. Kamila supports the team in challenging moments, helping StudyMap evolve from a concept into a fully functional platform.
Sumayakhon Mirmukhamedova, the team leader and visionary behind StudyMap, will present the project at the forum. She is skilled at blending creativity with strategic thinking. During the pitch, she will explain how StudyMap helps students and pupils organize their learning processes effectively, making education more accessible and convenient. StudyMap aims to revolutionize learning in the region by enabling adolescents to study productively, manage time, and confidently pursue their goals.
Teach for Tajikistan
Matlyuba Salikhova, co-founder and CEO of Teach For Tajikistan, will discuss the program’s launch and its efforts to tackle educational inequality in Tajikistan. The organization prepares the next generation of teacher-leaders who inspire children and drive long-term change. The program is not only addressing the staffing gap but also restoring the prestige of the teaching profession and reducing educational disparities in the country.
Farmer’s Journal
Orzu Ganieva, a gender expert and coordinator of the POCBER Sughd program, will talk about digital transformation in rural communities, particularly the creation of the Farmer’s Journal mobile app. This app helps women farmers manage finances, build independence, and expand access to opportunities. Orzu believes that empowering women through technology is a key driver of sustainable development. She strongly asserts, "Women’s solutions create well-being."
Dono
Rukhmina Fakirova, at just 16 years old, will pitch Dono, a platform designed to help users easily find and book educational opportunities. With two years of experience in IT and internships at major companies like Esxate, Humo, and Ilmhona, Rukhmina knows how hard it can be to find key developmental opportunities. Dono aims to simplify this journey, especially for girls who often face barriers in finding opportunities for growth.
Remote Hub
Aziza Olimova, an influencer, social activist, and philanthropist, will present Remote Hub, a community for remote workers. The platform connects people to projects, fosters knowledge sharing, and supports newcomers, helping young Tajiks tap into the global job market. Remote Hub enhances access to international job opportunities, broadening prospects for youth and creating a collaborative space for future startups.
ClassScan
The team behind ClassScan — Lutfiya Umarova, Aziza Juraeva, Dilangez Hamdamova, Makhina Zaripova, and Shahzoda Suleymanova — will introduce a tool that allows schools to conduct tests and surveys without needing student access to phones or computers. Students respond using cards with QR codes, and teachers immediately receive results. The team has experience implementing digital solutions in education, such as Lutfiya’s work with the eDonish program in Dushanbe schools since 2020. ClassScan makes digital learning accessible in areas without gadgets and helps schools save resources while improving the quality of education.
Women in Tech Tajikistan 2025 is more than just a forum — it’s a platform where young women showcase projects that are changing the future. These are the names to remember today: tomorrow, they will be the ones setting new standards in education, technology, and equality.
