Uzbekistan will probably sell gas to Kyrgyzstan at the European price. Minister of economic development and trade of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov told at a press conference at the “Kabar” Agency devoted to the results of socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan for January-August 2008.
“Uzbekistan and Russia recently agreed on supplying gas at the European price – US$305 per 1000 cubic metres. Uzbekistan will hardly make cheaper for us”, – said A.Japarov.
According to the minister, the gas price will affect on inflation processes. The minister does not rule out increase of gas price in Kyrgyzstan in 2009.
