DUSHANBE, September 11, 2008, Asia-Plus — A female fraud, which is suspected of having misappropriated more than 16,000 US dollars, has been detained in Dushanbe.
According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Ms. Khursheda Hoitova, an inspector with the personnel department within the limited liability company Mavorounnahr, was detained by police yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in fraud.
Hoitova took 16,600 US dollars from Gulbahor Soliyeva, resident of Sughd’s Panjakent district, for a two-room apartment in a half-finished residential building on the Tabachnaya Street in Dushanbe. She gave Soliyeva counterfeit documents for the apartment in this building.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Khursheda Hoitova and investigation is under way.
