DUSHANBE, September 2, 2008, Asia-Plus — An 18-year-old resident of Khujand Burhon Boymatov has been detained by local police on suspicion of having distributed porno films.
Mahmadullo Asadulloyev, a chief spokesman for the ministry of interior, said that Boymatov was caught red-handed on the Panjshanbe market yesterday, when he was pushing porno CDs.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Burhon Boymatov under the provisions of Article 241 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – illegal production and distribution of porno materials.
