Afghan drug dealer killed in crossfire on the Tajik-Afghan border

DUSHANBE, November 23, 2013, Asia-Plus – A special operation carried out by officers from the drug Control Agency (DCA) and the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) in the southern Khatlon province overnight on October 21-22 led to the seizure of a large amount of drugs.

According to the DCA press center, the multistage operation has been worked out during several months and during its final stage that was carried out in the Hamadoni district, one of Afghan drug dealers was killed in crossfire while other trespassers managed to return to Afghan territory.

15 kilograms of hashish and cannabis as well as two F-1 hand grenades were found on the sport, the source said.
