DUSHANBE, July 25, 2014, Asia-Plus – According to the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe, Directorate of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and Turkish Religious Foundation in collaboration with Office of the Counselor for Religious Services of the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe has granted aid to people in need on the occasion of Ramadan and for the purpose of demonstration of friendship between Turkish and Tajik nations.

In this connection, apart from the aid granted in Dushanbe on July 15, 2014, the areas exposed to flood disaster (mainly Kulob city as well as Vose and Shouroobod districts in Khatlon province) resulting in 550 victims received the aid in the amount of 10,000 U.S. dollars on July 17-18, 2014.

In addition, like previous couple of years, 15 households of Zuvayir Village (in Khovaling distirct, where graves of Enver Pasha and his comrades lie) received food aid in the amount of 2.5 tons worth 3.000 USD, on July 23, 2014.

Thus, in the month of Ramadan, the total amount of aid has reached 22,000 USD.
