Dushanbe. 18 August. “Asia Plus” — On 17th of August the mayor of Dushanbe Machmadsaid Ubaidulloev held a working meeting of the city administration, which considered issues of putting the objects into commission to the Independence Day of Tajikistan.

As a source in administration of Dushanbe city told “Asia-Plus”, a number of industrial and social facilities for a total amount of 1 billion somoni will be put into operation to the above-mentioned holiday. Over 1,700 residents will get the job there. Also, the meeting considered the problem of preparing Dushanbe for the next summit of heads of CSTO member States, which will be held on September 15.

The mayor of Dushanbe urged the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan to conduct a comprehensive inspection of working conditions in all enterprises in the city, to take effective measures to protect workers” rights.

The mayor drew attention to the issues of exporting waste from the city, the preparation of educational institutions of the capital for the new school year.
