Dushanbe. 19 August. “Asia Plus” — Shuroabad Khatlon – a 30-year-old resident of border areas with Afghanistan, was detained in the course of special events in suspicion of involvement in illegal drug trafficking on August 18 by means of the staff of Tajik police.

As the press center of the Interior Ministry reports, that more than 7 kilograms of heroin were found and seized.

On the same day two residents of Rudaki District were also detained: 216 grams of heroin were found and seized from 46-year-old and 51-year-old men.

On Tuesday police seized more than 1 kg of opium from 36-year-old resident of the capital.
