Dushanbe. 20 August. “Asia Plus” — Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are going to increase the number of presidential quotas for the students who plan to study in higher educational institutions of two countries.

This proposition announced Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on Thursday at a meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov in Ashgabat, reported the press service of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It is noted that the initiative of Tajik President was supported by the leader of Turkmenistan.

The report also says that in the future Tajik students will be able to study at the International University of Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan.

In addition, sooner will be also decided the issue of visa-free visits of Tajik and Turkmen citizens, who have official passports, said the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
