DUSHANBE, September 21, Asia-Plus – Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda today met in Doha, Qatar with representatives of Qatari business community and banking system, according to the Tajik Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
During the meeting, Rasoulzoda reportedly briefed the meeting participants on Tajikistan’s economic opportunities and informed them of prospects of development of the country’s economy.
On September 20, Rasoulzoda was received by Qatar”s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Tajik Prime Minister’s Secretariat said.
The two sides discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the State of Qatar.

(QNA) reports that Rasoulzoda also held talks with Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani on September 20.
During the talks, the two sides reportedly reviewed the existing areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields in addition to regional and international issues of common concern.

reports that Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda and his delegation on September 20 visited Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) in Doha.
Rasoulzoda reportedly toured sections where he was briefed on contents, including Islamic artifacts, relics, a rare precious heritage, books, manuscripts and coins made of silver, copper and bronze as well as articles of glass, ivory, tissue, wood and precious stones collected from the three continents dating back to 14 centuries.
Tajik prime minister listened to a presentation on MIA, its construction stages, role in disseminating science and culture and encouraging creativity and communication with arts and cultures of the world.
He also toured the exhibition hall, currently home to ‘The Hunt’ expo which highlights sport hunting as a hobby of kings of Islamic countries used to practice since early times.
Following the tour, he signed the honorary record, praising MIA’s contents and collections representing the Islamic civilization and cultural heritage.
Rasoulzoda was accompanied by Qatari Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali Mubarak Said Al Mohannadi, Tajik Ambassador to Qatar Qodir Ardasher and other officials.
