DUSHANBE, August 29, Asia-Plus — An international festival of children’s creative work entitled “Nouri Umed” (Gleam of Hope) will be held in Dushanbe on September 1. 

Dilrabo Abdurahmonova, producer of the Tajik branch of international TV and radio company Mir, told Asia-Plus that participants of the festival, staged under patronage of Tajik president, are expected to include some 90 children from Tajikistan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. 

According to her, the gala concert will be held at the Kokhi Jomi Complex.   She added that the main objective of the festival is to support talented children and promote establishment and expansion of relations between children of the CIS states.
