DUSHANBE, August 10, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Customs officers from the border-crossing checkpoint Nizny Panj in Khatlon’s Qumsangir district on August 8 warded off an attempt of illegally delivering a large consignment of cigarettes Pine from Afghanistan.

According to the Customs Service, customs officers found 3,000 boxes of Pine hidden in a heavy truck KAMAZ.  The counterfeit cigarettes were confiscated.
