DUSHANBE, May 13, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Officers from the Drug Control Agency have busted a drug pushing attempt in Dushanbe.

According to the DCA press service, an operation by their officers led to the arrest of two drug pushers in Dushanbe’s Zarafshon area on April 12. Two packages containing 5.5566 kilograms of heroin were confiscated from them.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pushers and an investigation is under way.
