DUSHANBE, April 9, 2012, Asia-Plus — A meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, presided over by Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, was held on April 9.
Issues related to speeding up repairs for major roads in the metropolis were the focus of the meeting, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the mayor’s office, said.
Speaking a the meeting, Mayor Ubaidulloyev, in particular, drew attention of contract organizations to the necessity of qualitative implementation of repair works and targeted use of budgetary funds allocated for repair works.
The meeting also considered issues related to construction of new facilities, the process of implementation of the municipal redevelopment plan in Dushanbe’s Khovaron area and enhancement of the project for construction of the multi-profile city hospital on the Nemat Qaraboyev Street, the spokesman said.
