DUSHANBE, October 9, 2012 Asia-Plus – Tajik northern city of Qairoqqum will host the Conference on the integration of Central Asia into the World trade.
Organized by the Austrian international organization Hilfswerk Austria International in cooperation with the German Society on International Cooperation GIZ (Program on regional economic cooperation assistance in Central Asia) and the Administration of Free Economic Zone (FEZ) “Sughd,” the conference will take place at the Bahoriston resort area of Qairoqqum from October 15 to October 16, press release issued by the Delegation of the European Union to Tajikistan said.
The event is reportedly held in the framework of the EU-financed project, Integrated Approach towards Promoting Central Asia Nuts, Dried Fruits and Honey Processing SMEs.
The conference is expected to bring together representatives of relevant state structures, private sector, international and local organizations to discuss the development of mechanisms of Central Asian economic cooperation.
Alongside with that, during the conference attention will be paid to the issue of harmonization of national legislations to international norms and regulations.
In parallel, an exhibition of food products of local producers will be held.
