Raids to be made into markets to prevent sale of live birds

, February 3, Asia-Plus – Beginning on February 4, experts from the country’s veterinary service together with police will made raids into markets in the republic to withdraw live birds from illegal sale, the veterinary service head Mullojon Amirbekov has said in his interview with Asia-Plus.    

According to him, this preventive measure is being taken following a resolution banning sale of live birds on the markets in the republic.    

“All shop realizing live birds will be closed,” Amirbekov said, noting that raids will be made daily.
