Tajikistan


’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) have been recommended to observe presidential elections in


Belarus


set for March 19.  

Head of the CCER secretariat Muhibullo Dodojonov has told Asia-Plus that that the CCER deputy chairman Mizrob Kabirov and the Commission member Kenja Hasanov may possibly join the CIS mission of observers.  “At present we are waiting for approval from the Belarus Central Electoral Commission.” 

Meantime, some Russian media report that on Tuesday the Belarus Central Electoral Commission granted accreditation to 30 international observers from the CIS for conducting a long-term monitoring of the upcoming presidential elections in the country.
