DUSHANBE, February 21, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov is expected to hold separate meetings with visiting energy ministers of Afghanistan and Iran, presidential press service reported.
President Rahmonov is meeting with Afghan Energy and Water Resources Minister Muhammad Ismail Khan in the morning. According to presidential press service, Tajik electricity exports to
Afghanistan
as well as via
Afghanistan
to
Pakistan
and
Iran
will top the meeting’s agenda.
In the afternoon, President Rahmonov is scheduled to have meeting with Iranian Energy Minister Said Parviz Fattah. The two are supposed to discuss prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between
Tajikistan
and
Iran
in the area of energy.
