in the spring-supper period, Tajik Economy and Trade Minister, Hakim Soliyev, remarked at a session of the Tajik-Afghan commission for economic cooperation in


Dushanbe


on Thursday, February 23.

According to information from the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MET), this issue had been considered previously as well and it is planned to construct a 120 kilometers of gas pipeline from

Yesterday, the session also discussed issues related to training of personnel for Afghan economy at higher educational institutions in


Tajikistan


, participation of Tajik specialists in reconstruction of


Afghanistan


’s infrastructure.   

The MET source says an agreement on cooperation in this area may possibly be signed already today.  

A three-day session of the Tajik-Afghan intergovernmental commission for economic and trade cooperation opened in


Dushanbe


Thursday February 23.
