DUSHANBE, June 1, Asia-Plus – “Tajikistan and China share common stances on many regional and international problems,” Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament), remarked at a meeting with U Bango, Chairman of China’s National Assembly, in Moscow on May 30.
The meeting was held on sidelines of the first meeting of the SCO heads of parliament.
According to information from the Majlisi Milli, the two discussed issues related to expansion of inter-parliamentary ties
Tajikistan
and
China
aimed at further development of many-sided mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting it was noted that parliamentarians could make contribution to further expansion of economic and trade cooperation between
Tajikistan
and
China
.
Ubaidulloyev proposed to set up inter-parliamentary group of friendship.
