, killing dozens of civilians, mainly women and children.

The statement, in particular, says, “The Political Council of the IRPT condemns terrorist actions and foul crimes of the Israeli regime.”

“The latest developments in the Middle East and the current fighting in Lebanon, namely the killing of women and children in the village of Qana and innocent civilians in the refugee camp, expose essence of Israel’s criminal regime,” the statement points out.  

The IRPT Political Council has requested that the international community, and in particular Islamic countries, the European Union, the United States, the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) should not remain indifferent in the face of these merciless actions and use all their opportunities and powers to achieve ceasefire in this region as soon as possible.  

“We also asks the Government of Tajikistan to hold a certain stance on this issue and express solidarity with Lebanon, taking into consideration friendly relations between the peoples of Tajikistan and Lebanon,” the statement stressed.  

Besides, the IRPT Political Council has also decided to apply to the mayor of


Dushanbe


with solicitation to provide assistance in holding of a demonstration of protest against the inhuman policy of


Israel
