DUSHANBE, August 25, Asia-Plus — Three other enterprises – open joint-stock company (OJSC) “Komron Agro Holding” (Sughd province), “Khujand Avia Service” (agency for selling air tickets in Sughd), and OJSC “Khonaqo Nefteprodukt” (oil supply company in Hissor) — have been put on a list of large taxpayers in Tajikistan bringing a total number of them to 165 entities, Ibrohim Ismoilov, the deputy head of the inspectorate for large taxpayers within the Ministry of State Revenues and Tax Collections, said in his interview with Asia-Plus.

Century” are also on the list of large taxpayers in Tajikistan, according to him.
“A company put on the list of large taxpayers is provided with high-quality service on the part of the inspectorate and saved from superfluous inspections,” said the Asia-Plus interlocutor, “Specialists from the inspectorate conduct surveys to help the enterprises avoid potential losses.”
The large taxpayers today also include Tajik Aluminum (TadAZ), Ministry of Energy, large joint ventures such (“Zeravshan”, “Kabool-Tajik Textiles”, “Javoni” and so forth), as well as all large commercial banks in the country.
According to the source, large taxpayers account for 60 percent of taxes coming to the country’s national budget.
