DUSHANBE, January 22, Asia-Plus – A 50-year-old resident of Dushanbe has been detained at the Dushanbe airport for drug trafficking.
According to the Drug Control Agency (DCA), 169 containers with totaling 1.20 kilograms of heroin were extracted from abdominal cavity of one of passengers on the flight Dushanbe-St. Petersburg, a 50-year-old resident of Dushanbe, at the end of last week.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the drug courier and an investigation is under way.
